Yep - the link works fine. The rear lights look well different to any Marea I've seen in the UK.

About the tail lights. They are not funny, usually the other cars' drivers get pretty angry when they see them (bad loosers ),[!]
and this happens all the time.

Good link and good car - I like the smooth top to the boot. Is that a usual design in Brazil, as the Mareas I've seen in the UK have a double-curved boot lid. Certainly striking rear lights...

Yes. About two years ago FIAT "heard" the complains about (for our taste) Marea´s ugly boot. As it was hurting sales (FIAT is really big in Brazil), they decided to change it. Not only that, but they started using the same suspention (stiffer) and the same brakes (larger "disks") as the Marea Turbo. So the car not only got even more beautiful, but more stable and safe as well. Despite the changes, the volumetric capacity of the boot's interior did not change, nor did the bumpers.

Marea Turbo? Don't think the UK saw that one... think the fastest we had was the 20v.

I dunno, what with the faster versions of cars and the world's most beautiful women, some countries have it too good!!

I agree with you on the women bit. But as for the cars, Brazil still have a long way to go. We have this "special" treatment from FIAT due to our fondness to FIAT's cars. I couldn't say for sure, but I think we are the biggest buyers of FIAT's cars in the world (FIAT is the number one car manufacturer around here, saleswise).
But, just as an example, you should see our vectras. I know a lot of people complain about vauxhall in the UK, but here vauxhall's cars are marketted by GM. And that is no improvement. Our most potent Vectra has a 2.2 138hp motor, and most of them do not even come with airbags. Not to mention the awfully bad brakes.
As for VW their top of the line here is the Focus, and occasionally a imported Mondeo.
Of course we also have importers, so BMWs, AUDIs (the A3 is made in my homecity), Citroens (yuk!), peugeots, etc. are common, but apart from FIAT's our national built cars suck...
But of course, the women are just fine, lol.

OOooppss. Sorry about that, yes they are. VW cars are even worse (IMO), we have the Golf (actually not that bad if you have the doe to buy the 2.0 turbo 180HP), Bora (I think it is called Jetta in the US) and the import Passat (ugly car if you ask me. Never mind the price tag).
