Punto (Mk2/2b) 2001 Red 3DR Punto!

Introduction

Picked it up last night, well chuffed with it!! :D(y)

so so clean, just hit 42k miles with a FSH, she even had it valeted before we bought it and left us half a tank of fuel :p

glad i held out for a 3DR in a colour i actually liked.

worth every penny of £750 i reckon, full years tax and test, just serviced in july with 4 new Pirelli's & tracking & new battery.

jobs to do include the pretty much standard stuff:

CC mirrors/door handles.
Remove bump strips.
fit my RCL locking kit i bought years ago for my MK2b.
Focus Ind. kit.
got a few mods planned as i've decided to keep her for a while, i did want another big powerful car but i've got my bike to go fast and the way fuel is going it's not worth it to me for an everyday run around.

Thanks to Kerim, i have a set of sporting clocks to go in.

i'm going to CC the mirrors and handles, probably the lazy way so i don't have to take door cards off :p

de badge the rear, might take the bump strips off, not sure yet.

i've got an ebay jobby remote locking kit somewhere i plan on fitting.

i'm going to spray the standard trims black as i think black wheels on a red car looks decent and i want to keep the standard look going.

got loads of limo black tint left over to do the rear and rear side windows, i know the rear's hard to do but i've done a bit of tinting before and i've got nothing to loose :)

might tint the rear lights with some left over spray i have somewhere, problem is though i don't want to get pulled over for not having a reflector and they don't look all that good with the reflector left un-done imo.

In mosy cars not usually a fan of this colour but i think it suits a Punto well and have it in great shape, when you putting the sporting alloys on? Think it best is you leave then silver as it will break up the colout a bit...looks reat though (y)
