Smile Rockbottom's Punto Mk2 JTD

Here's some pictures of my Punto JTD after cleaning her, modifications so far are:

Angel Tuning Remap
Angel Eye Headlights
Abarth Front Bumper
Debadged Bonnet
Debadged Tailgate
Colour coded handles & mirrors
17" Kei Racing Alloy Wheels
Flat style wiper blades
Rightclick Remote Central Locking & Alarm System

Future modifications:

GSR Induction Kit (getting it at the RR day in April)
-35mm Lowering Full Suspension Kit (uprated springs & shocks)
Abarth Side Skirts
Abarth Rear Bumper
Sporting Spoiler
Supersprint Backbox
Delocked doors
Rear Windows Tinted
Mk2b Rear Lights

Pictures haven't come out that well because of the overcast weather and my crappy camera phone.

Comments and suggestions welcomed.

Really liking this Punto, i didn't know there was any difference between the back lights on an A and a B Punto.

Mk2b rear lights have clear indicators, Mk2 ones are orange.

I really like this colour, and it looks great with that front bumper.

But I do think the 17" wheels make your rear brakes look tiny*

*not that i can say much cos i have drums on the back

I know they do. My rear brakes are drums as well, looking into doing a rear disc conversion. Think I need the entire rear beam off of a HGT to do it.

Also looking into getting bigger discs upfront, the alloys dwarf my front brakes as well.

Nope, decided to leave them on, I think they help break the colour up, if I took them off then the car would basically look like a blue slab when looking at the side of it. They also help protect the doors in car parks, my car is completely dent/ding free but the side strips have got a few marks on them which proves they have done their job.

Re: Rockbottom's Punto Mk2 JTD

apparently you only need the hubs to do the conversion, don't expect it to massively improve the braking though as the rears do very little.

tbh the front brakes are fine with better discs and pads so no need for bigger ones unless it's for cosmetics.
