Yes thats right, my Turbo cinq is dead AGAIN! well... its not dead fully, jus needs recon turbo but meh don't start me on it (take it away for £1500) lol

the green thing is really not that exciting. I'm really tempted to fix enzo, especially since auto integrale are building me a bottom end but i have always wanted an Uno Turbo.

Poor Enzo!! really like your tub, even if it is tempramental at times. Upto you really mate whether you fix it but your always gona get the same answer from me and that is fix it lol. Thing to remember is findoing a Uno Turbo in good nick is hard as well, will end up throwing money at one so what you want more, enzo or a Uno?

Can i just say though that I want them smoked rear lenses if you get rid lol. Tried to get them off Ghost but you beat me to it..

well i think enzo will be fixed unless someone offers me a wad of cash and trailers enzo away knowing he's dead thing is i know where i might be able to pick up a very solid UT mk2 but not even spoke to the guy yet, only know aboot it thru dunc...

Would be a shame to see it go, although saying that i have no idea how long you've had enzo so maybe time has come. Only seen it in the flesh the once at Eurofest last year, and it was tapping like a madman's teeth on ectasy lol.

Anyhow, 1st dibbs on the lights whenever you get rid - be it in a month or a decade I want 1st refusal

yea, i've the 2nd owner of the car, and i've had it like 6 years or so i know it inside out, thats one of the good things about it.

Its a soleil model isnt it? Thought it would have colour coded bumpers, just wondered if it was a project that was started and never finished

Yup, it's a Soleil model. I've got one and it's quite good fun to drive. Once I serviced it I found the performance not bad for 899cc. Nearly got 100mph on th clock the other week - downhill on my private test track of course



Shame last summer was so wet as I didn't have much chance to have the roof open

And yes, all Soleils should have colour coded bumpers. The green one may have had a bump at some point.

As to Cinq trubo or Uno turbo, well, difficult choice. Cinq was never meant to be a turbo but being newer it's easier to get most spares for it. A UT has a better turbo installation being designed as turbo from the start, but some parts are getting hard to find and unless you find one with a good shell they can rust like crazy

Maybe toss a coin?

I think i'll fix the cinq and go from there, esp since auto integrale are building me a bottom end. should be nice and safe... super low comp so theres no way it can break really! might try and uprate the intercooler... everythin else is done, like fuel pump n' oil cooler.
I would love an Uno Turbo but trust me i'm hearing what everyone is saying loud and clear, i know what kinda rust probs i could be lookin at
no amount of smiles per hour can pay for repairs

With regards to the soleil... i've seen pics of it with the green bumpers but yea i think its had a bash somewhere along the line... it has a nicely rearranged bonnet but i'm not too fussed with the black bumpers, i think it pulls them off ok

you can never have too many cinq's

If i were you I think i'd have to fix the turbo up, even if you do decide to change it then a running turbo will be much easier to sell on than a bag of bits.

I do like the UT's but they are getting a bit long in the tooth now so potentially you'd just be in the same situation again throwing money at it, better stuff out there IMHO (sorry uno guys)

To get given a car by your girlfriend's father... now THAT, to me, is the cool part. I don't even have a girlfriend! To be gifted a car shows real approval...!

I reckon you should polish it up nicely, clean the alloys, black the bumpers, etc. Who cares about the performance - with petrol prices the way they are, you need a cheap runaround (surely?) It looks great!

Sounds like you'll get the Cinq Turbo re-born in time... no rush, is there
