Meet Toshimichi

Introduction

Meet Toshimichi - Pajero Mini

Toshimichi - a 2002 Mitsubishi Pajero Mini
660cc 4-cyl Turbo, auto :slayer:

Built on the same platform as the Mitsubishi Minica to comply with Japans strict 'Kei' car regulations, those of you who play Gran Turismo will no doubt have seen the Keis featured heavily in the early stages, and will have probably driven an Alto Works, Kei Works or even a Minica.

To get an idea of size, check these pictures out:

The Junior is actually slightly bigger (wider arches) and I think has a 1.0l unit, I didn't think I'd like the Auto but it just takes a bit of getting used to and learning to drive it differently, it's kind of weird not really knowing what gear I'm in though
As for insurance, valued the car at £4k, fully comp, 31yrs old, 3 yrs no claims, 5k limited mileage policy - Sei was around £650 for the year, so what do you reckon for this?

sei was £650 for the year? My Panda was £670 for the year fully comp at 21, i will renew in jan, 3 yrs no claims coming on four. I would love a minibushi, but not an auto, i dont like auto's :( Drove my dads/grandads old mk4 estate auto 1.6 and i hated it. It was pokey but did about 27mpg :eek:plus i hate the way an auto drives! I'd prefer a disezel

At a rough guess....£280.68. ;)

The photo of the Subi and the AZ doesn't make the AZ look small - It IS small!!

Turns out the Auto's not so good for fuel economy, guess I need to adapt my driving style to it and figure out at what point it wants to change, if I can get it up to around 35mpg for day-to-day usage I'll be happy with that.

Gave it a good clean, clay, polish and wax today so that should make it more slippery at least :D

Also got a pair of RalliArt stickers off ebay, not sure where to put them though ...

Wow, that is one cool looking midget. Never seen or even heard of these before.
