ps abs working fine
i dont understand ive had 3 2.0 20v and never had this b4

Does 2.0 have a braking force regulator (would you call this part that?) around the rear subframe?

It may be stuck or rusty and might need replacement.

Thanx for the help ill have a look at that then (anyone got a ruff idea of where it is)

Just follow the brake lines from rear wheels - they meet in this device and it is mounted on the rear suspension subframe.

on this model it is a load sensing proportioning valve. it is fitted to the centre of the rear beam. you can easily remove it to check if it is working correctly. the valve may simply be stuck in place, or the load sensing part has become disengaged allowing the valve to close. however if you could bleed both rear cylinders easily enough it would suggest fluid is passing through the valve ok, but at the same time that would not neccessarily mean the rear breaks are getting enough fluid to them to pass an MOT.
