I`ve got a Marea Weekend and the heater doesn`t work. The AC works fine, but when I put the heater on I get "Error Cl" I`ve managed to get up the fault code 65. Can anyone tell me what this means and/or what the problem could be?

HELP!!!!!!!!!
Can nobody help me with my problem? It`s getting chilly in the early hours and winter is fast approaching. Please any suggestions?
Cheers

jug,
Thanks for the list of codes, it seems like code 65 is "Mixer Actuator Malfunction" Have you any idea what this is and where it`s located? Is it easy to change / repair? Most of all is it expensive?
Thanks again

I spose the Marea like most modern cars has an air blending heater. Older cars(like our 1967 MG) have a water valve that you control, but this takes a little while to work while everything warms up. In an air blender the hot water is there flowing through the heater matrix all the time and you just choose how much unheated and heated air you mix together to go to the cabin. So thats what it is and its stuck on full cold, no doubt it's also buried somewhere in the depths of the heater box!

oh 65! i thought had 43.

65 means the flap is stuck, its a bag plastic flap under the centre of the dash that controls how much of the air passes by the heater matrix (and gets heated). getting access to it is a bit of a nightmare.
