not very!

They are all over the place especially on newer vehicles, but thats cos the engine isnt run in!!

After 66k mine seems to still read a little higher, usually beween 2 and 5mpg higher... So out by up to 10%, which isn't too good in my book...

Mine is a 52 reg punto, I always calculate the mpg from the fuel and the trip computer is always pretty much spot on, although when it was new it did overread a little.

Damn!!!, so at best I am getting about 31mpg as it reads

Well I'm not saying that they are always right loads of people say theirs overreads - but mine is good though. But I wouldn't think it would ever underread - that wouldn't really be in Fiat's intrests would it :D

31mpg for an HGT sounds about right doesn't it? Christ I only got 30 out of my Mk1 55!

The ulysse surely does more than that? It's a diesel right?

Or is it that you've had it re-tuned.

It weighs over 1.5 tonne at a guess and it's a 2.2 litre, diesel or otherwise, and remapped for 170BHP I think.

I'm getting 25 mpg from our 2.0 petrol auto, which isn't bad. And that has been my wife driving mostly in town.

Ok, I originally made the post about the Stilo Abarth - probably getting 23mpg out it, BUT I drive it like it was stolen. Yes, it is remapped, so possibly why mine is better then KoArAnGs, which isn't?!

As for the Ulysse, yes, it is c.165bhp [up from 122bhp or so, I can't recall], but as Paul said, it is a large car, kerb weight is just under 1.8 tonne. That is a lot of car to move, and the mpg on it is probably around 32mpg [but car is used for short school runs] - still, that compares very nicely with the 2.0 petrol Ulysse ;)
