Hi all!

Driving along today and noticed a crack about 8cm long and very thin on the screen. Can these type be repaired?

really depends,if they can drill into bothends and halt the crack and its out of the MOT regulation area then yes but most likely your better getting it replaced.do you have windscreen cover in your insurace?

I think the AA or RAC or someone used to advertise a resin injection process to fix cracks. Not sure how big a crack this can sort, but might be worth checking out. :D

I agree, if a repair then totally free, if not and replacement needed, then £50 usually to pay, no affect on NCB.

But you only tend to get this option if fully comp.
