Bollards!

Never seen those before, well not that are automatic anyway.

How clearly marked are they?

we have a few in edinburgh but they are not on 24 hours a day leading ot a few similar incidents.
as for markings the led no entry signs and mini roundabout at the front seem decent.
the micra knew for sure and was trying it on.
TBH they all looked like they knew but were trying a cheeky shortcut

yup they were all trying it on.

first silver thing was a joke.

but that fella (looked like a cypriate actually) was just being a prick, especially with wife and young daughter in the car too:( you see how quickly she stormed off with child after that. hope she leaves the wreckless fecker(y)

and that van, actually smash's his face into the windscreen!

I reckon a panda or a cinq could fit down the side of one of them!

just noticed, that first silver car, no seat belt either, see how far forward she moves in seat with no belt!! nearly total's her face on windscreen!!
TBH i'm more surprised to see these people without belts than i am them trying to get a free passage.

I was once in a que coming out of uni carpark, they have cards to get out of carpark (you can get in without one them, but you'll get stuck!! HA HA), which makes this HUGE metal yellow flapper recead into ground so you can drive out.
this woman in a brand new (less than 6month old) punto mk2.b sporting swiped her card, the thing went down, then as she drove off (immediatly) it came BACK UP again! lifted the whole car off ground, totall bumper, and radiator and a/c bit!!

uni of course wouldn't pay up for a good job so she got a normal 'active' front bumper, then got it sprayed, probably by some kids for a tenner, it was practically white, and within a few weeks it all started peeling off (car was yellow).

I'm worried by the number of people (Both sex's) that dont' know the turning circle of their car/have no spacial awareness, and end up running over high kerbs and rocks and small bollard fence things in car parks and destroy the sills on their cars!!

just look about in supermarket car park, if theres say 400cars there, I'd reckon you could count at least 10 in a few minutes will sill damage!!

I remember my mates little sis (he's 27, one sis is 24, the other is 19) had a brand new corsa 1.4sxi/sri thing bought for her.
when she went to the cinema in sunderland, she used the big multistorey carpark.
she cut the corner exiting a ramp too tight, but didn't hit it, then two cars came up behind her whilst she 'though't about what to do.
One of the cars honked her, so instead of her backing up a foot or two into the ample space, she just popped it into first and floored it!!! apparenlty took a good few seconds of wheelspinning to jam the car against the concrete, then break it free.
Made a right mess of the drivers door and rear 3/4 panel and even broke a bit off rear light lense, car had covered less than 50 miles when she did that!
stupid spoilt btch!!!

how do i get that first vid to play? it just bums out every time I try...

They have exactly the same bollards in Chester, allowing access for the City Centre. They were put in a few years ago. There were signs warning from the start, but in the first 2 weeks about 10 cars had holes punched in the bottom by the rising bollards! So they put in bigger signs....
