hehe, why did you stop?

Theres got to be more than just me on here that rolls on 2 20" wheels...

Thanks

I stopped because I had no-one else to ride with anymore. I had 2 friends from where I live that rode trials, both stopped because they were more into cars and felt most of their money would be best suited towards them. So I had to sell. I'm thinking of starting again though as one of the previous riders is thinking of starting again. If it's any consolation I rode 20" (mod FTW but I'm a shortass so 26" was way too big for me)
What can you do on your bmx?

Actually in the middle of painting the BMX i got off a mate, ill write up the parts list sometime soon ^^

Just do it in the local area, their in the process of building a skatepark 5 min from my house mind you so going to go from street > vert.

Shall get a picture when all the parts have arrived and paints dried :D

I rode on 24" not so long ago....

azonic frame. halo combat rims. DMR dirt track tyres. truvativ crankset. dmr pedals. atomlab stem. gusset prisonR bars. manitou shocks. avid juicy rear hydraulic brake have set of DMR rigid forks but they're cut down so its mega low.

Dont ride so much now cause i kinda got bored of it... and driving places is easier and faster.

I've got a Cannondale chase 26" in my cupboard, Was in the process of re-building it when I took a fancy to BMX. £600 manitou sherman forks that I was going to send off and have a travel reduction so they had 90 to 130mm adjustment rather than 130 to 170mm. MRP chain device but I really want to convert it to single speed, or keep the gears and have a neutral freecoaster ring.

Anyway :D.

Thanks

Mate of mine rides Flatland in Coventry....

I have a GT Jamie Bestwick which I'm messing about on, trying to recapture the heady days of my youth where I messed about on a White DP Freestyler with White Z rims....

I own a BMX bike, I bought it from the shop, rode it to death and now it badly needs an angle grinding and a new lick of paint. Since I bought a car though that'll probably never happen since I'll be moving out of home in the next 2 years sometime.

Trust me when I say it could of been. Stem is the part that holds your bars onto your forks for those who don't know.

Hopped and it just went then, I could of smashed my head on my top cap or headbutted the floor :D. It could of even been my tackle that would of got it.

It's being sorted, thanks to odyssey and my local shop. Replacement would set me back a pretty penny.

Thanks

I did a bunny hop on a BMX once and the front wheel got stuck in a drain. Everything went over the handle bars apart from one finger so I had all my weight and the BMX on that one finger.

I broke my finger and bones in my hand and couldn't write for years (still can't :p)

Let's just say it kind of put me off lol.
