I have a 57 reg panda 4x4 with the original blaupunkt hu with radio/mp3 cd player. I also have the fiat aporoved iPod cable which charges my iPod and treats it as a cd autochanger. I can control iPod via steering wheel controls This worked fine with my 5th gen iPod but unfortunately this iPod broke so I have got new 160gb iPod classic. I can use my new iPod with the cable and use the steering wheel controls and hu to change playlists etc as usual but the big display on the iPod screen that says track playing only shows the song that was playing when u first connected it and does not update as new tracks are played. There is small text underneath the large text which scrolls with current track playing and artist but not with album details and it's a bit small to read when driving. Is there a firmware or cable upgrade available for the 57 fiat panda iPod cable/blaupunkt cable that gives better functionality for the newer iPods and in particular will charge my iPhone. If not I am considering a tom tom car kit for my iPhone 3g. This has a 3.5 mm line out socket for aux input to my blaupunkt hu. Which aux cable would I need for this? Thanks very much in anticipation of ur help and apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place. Forgive me. I'm a newbie! Rob

An easy way to find these is the search for those who say they can keep your cell phone or Palm Pilot. |
