Hello all,

I am new to this forum . Ive joined in order to get some advise from you guys and girls. I am a new Fiat 500C owner after trading in my little go cart Mini Cooper which I adored but started to cost me more than the joy of driving it could put up with. I came across a lovely baby blue fiat 500 convertible, which I absolutely love apart from one problem. I sat in the car the other day trying for what felt like an hour to tune the radio for my favourite local FM stations. Thinking the lady who had the car before me lived a little way from me so naturally the radio needed stations nearer to me. For the life of me though I cant pick up hardly any stations. I manage to get the bbc radio 1 and other bbc stations ok. Smooth fm is fuzzy and so is magic, kiss and my local heart fm. Capital fm is non existant. I type in all the frequency numbers of the stations I want, then I saved them as they were (fuzzy as hell) to the radio and put it down to maybe the stormy weather was stopping me from picking them up clearly. The next day I took the car out and tried the radio, but again nothing but fuzzy or no radio station at all. It doesnt ever have written what station I am on on the radio screen and constantly says searching. Ive read a few other peoples comments on here in another thread regarding the normal fiat hatchback and them also having radio problems. Obviously where mine is a fiat 500c its a bit different and therefore, I wonder if anyone could shed some light on this problem but in the convertible. I read that the antenna is in the front windscreen or something? I do have these weird black lines built in the glass of my front windscreen. Is that my antenna? Sorry if these are stupid questions. I've never had a fiat or a convertible car before and only dawned on me now that I obviously wouldn't have a normal antenna as I cant because the roof comes off. My fiat is a 2012 reg.

Apart from this though. I'm loving the car. I have to remember with it being a 1.2, its not quite so quick and powerful going up the hills as my 1.6 mini cooper, but im loving the light steering and pedals. My mini although extremely fun to drive and gripped the road like a little go cart. It was so freaking heavy to drive. Heavy steering and my god the clutch in a traffic jam. I had a dead leg by the end of the journey. I'm loving the convertible roof in my new fiat though. Love driving with it open on a summers evening when its just starting to get dark and you get the smell of fresh air while crusing down the motorway.

My name is Jenna by the way. I'm from the south east of England, UK

Best wishes
Jen xx
