Just bought a Panasonic dx572n head unit (mp3/cd/radio), managed to get the old standard stereo out and now im just baffled with the wiring from the car (what colour to here and which colour to where?)

Used to fit stereos years by trial and ever years ago , but i dont want to blow fuses in this 1 (punto cabrio 99, t-reg)...

Any help?

and can you buy an iso connection to make it easier

Hei.

You could by an ISO connector to make it easier. But you have to connect that correct as well. It is anyway a good idea. Use a meter to find ground and live wires. There are usually 3. One continous from the battery. One from the ignition. And one ground. When you have found these 3 wires, the rest are speaker wires. Check the color on the speakers itself to rule this out. It might be an extra wire, for illumination, I mean this is rare. Colors are like a lottery game. Black is usually ground. You might blow som fuses, and when you blow the fuse for the radio, the fan, wipers, etc. might go as well, because it's on the same sircuit. Use caution. Use a volt meter.
