I have been given a parcel shelf from an old seicento with speakers screwed into it, I have no idea how to connect them up, I've got some speaker wire I just have no idea how to connect it to my sony explod stereo, please help????

Since the Seicento didn't come with rear speakers as standard there'll be no connection already back there for you to connect to, so you need to splice them into the loom at the back of the headunit itself. Off the top of my head I can't remember which colour goes where, assuming that your Sony headunit is a 4 channel unit though you should see 4 wires on that side which aren't connected to anything. I can't explain it any simpler than that though without being able to point at things

OKAY, sounds very complicated, we've pulled the stereo out at the front and there are 2 empty sockets a yellow and a red one we've tried shoving the speaker wire inside then shoving it in the parcel shelf speaks too, and nothing seemed to happen then either, unless we're shoving then in the wrong hole???

45Wx4 is the power output per channel, so at least we know it is capable of doing 4 channels :)

This might help, connecter B is the speakers so you just need to identify which pin is which, but a picture would help for sure - [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connectors_for_car_audio[/ame]

If your car has rear spekers the disconnect them and simply wire right into the connector that goes to the stereo. That's wat I did in my punto, wether or not a seicento is the same I don't know

the stereo should have a plug at the back. the two green, two grey, two purple and two white wire are all for your speakers. using your head units fader and balance you can find out which wires are for which speaker.

firstly knowing you haven't go wires for the rear, you need to put some in. once the wires have been ran from the rear speakers you can begin to connect them to the head unit.

This might help too - http://www.passionauto.co.uk/content/63-iso-lead-colours-|-iso-connectors-|-iso-adaptor-leads.html
