Try searching the net for decent audio dealers where you are, I believe Source and Phattbeats are somewhere near you they may have a speclab.

Thicker cable means less voltage drop therefore more power! I got nearly a 1 volt from just putting on a thicker battery earth. And try Mega Watt in Runcorn for your dB testing.
