seems pretty cheap to me, means I could afford some options Will let you know how the order (and ETA) goes

am i right in thinking you are ordering this through some internet company?
where will you take it for service? how much are you saving by going through the net to through a dealer?!

Its a UK sourced car with full UK warranty so will use local dealer. I will save approx £1300 from the new dealer price and am told the car will come from a fiat fleet supplier and will be pre registered the day before I receive it.

only one bit of advice here we brough a brand new 1.8 16v Renault scenic from Jamjar.com and theyre all uk cars with full waranty etc and we payed £13,000 compared to the non budging dealer price of £15,500 BUT be warned the dealers never treat you the same as when you buy the car from them and in general we received a kind of 'outsider' treatment when bokking in for waranty work etc rather than being booked in straight away like my grandfather was with this clio from the dealer:bang:

is worth buying off the internet forthe saving and you do get the same car but ckeck it thoroughly before signing the release, check all tax etc and test drive as you would a dealer and good luck

you will be treated as an outsider. pretty much on the cards that one.
be warned. just check everything on the car before you sign the agreement. I used to work for a dealer in the uk, had a customer use us for test drives, pricing etc, bought it off the net (like yourself) and got a car where the front wing was a different colour to the rest of the car, they took the photo from the other side and told him that he signed the agreement to the car he saw, he didnt ask to see the other side. The car was actually painted wrong on purpose, i think it was a red car and had the front wing sprayed white but it was blended through to the red. MAD!

I agree i have bought two cars over the internet previously a renault and a peugout - both times when ever i went to a dealer i was also treated like scum on their shoes - peugoet i had to wait at least 4 weeks before they would look at the car ( they seem to have a seperate diary for bookings for their own customers) and you get get the response sorry i can not find your car on our database we aer not sure if your warranty is valid even though you have the documents with you to prove it. this happened every time i went. lots of hassle but the savings are big.

cheers guys, the trouble is if I get the car from my dealer they will charge £12400 for it in black which is way too much! Will try and haggle I think
