Re: Multijet 1.3 upgrades

Hi (who?) and welcome on board!

your 90bhp 1.3mjet will unfortunately never be a racing car unless you do a little more than installing silicone pipes ;-)

If you want it to be a bit more pleasant to drive you could install an additional "racing box" like sold on the internet. They claim huge improvements in the engine's curves, it simply is not true or at least well over-estimated! I used one on my same 1.3mjt and actually felt the engine was running noticeably smoother and with a little more punch, resulting in a proven gasoil consumption slight decrease (about 1/2 a liter per 100km).

This is way cheaper than a remap, big intercooler, polished piping etc. and honestly IMO is worth the money you'll spend for it, but don't expect miracles ...

BRs, Bernie

If someone here helped You fix -or better, understand- your issue, hit the thanks icon @ bottom right corner, it's free and makes us feel helpy ;-)

Re: Multijet 1.3 upgrades

hi and from me.....

well a good tune file is the better option...

don't expect miracles from this small engine...

otherwise expect trouble in clutch, gearbox...etc....

its nice little car, not a supercar...
