Hello everyone.i own a grande punto 1.3 multijet 90hp.im going to do some upgrades to my car and i would like to have your opinion and ask if someone has done to his own car the same..
1. im going to put new intake hoses alluminium and silicone hoses a little bit bigger.
2. new intercooler bigger full alluminium
3.new decat exhaust downpipe
4.remap ecu..
Has anyone done these to his car..also im intrested to see some photos of intake pipes if someone has changed to bigger.thanks in advance.be safe everyone

your 90bhp 1.3mjet will unfortunately never be a racing car unless you do a little more than installing silicone pipes ;-)

If you want it to be a bit more pleasant to drive you could install an additional "racing box" like sold on the internet. They claim huge improvements in the engine's curves, it simply is not true or at least well over-estimated! I used one on my same 1.3mjt and actually felt the engine was running noticeably smoother and with a little more punch, resulting in a proven gasoil consumption slight decrease (about 1/2 a liter per 100km).

This is way cheaper than a remap, big intercooler, polished piping etc. and honestly IMO is worth the money you'll spend for it, but don't expect miracles ...

hi and from me.....

well a good tune file is the better option...

don't expect miracles from this small engine...

otherwise expect trouble in clutch, gearbox...etc....

its nice little car, not a supercar...:):)
