Hi,

I have a 2010 grande punto that has a single din radio. Is there anyway of making the space larger to fit a double din radio?

Cheers

Jacob

Hi Jacob,

yes, there are facias available to fit double DIN units in there, ask Google ...

Also looking to fit a double din into my Grande Punto, all the adaptor kits I can find are left hand drive, has anyone fitted 1 to a right hand drive? What's the difference?

Doesnt appear to be, just wondered if anyone has used 1 of the adaptors that has a pic

Looks pretty good, might even consider buying one if they could offer matching facia …

I've just taken out my Clarion double din today, its touchscreen
I'm changing cars.

I will upload pics but these show the Chinese unit I bought.
Absolute waste of money, only lasted a couple of weeks and was really difficult to get a refund.
I had to pay to send it back to China.
That's why I bought the Clarion DAB SAT NAV unit.

Anyway I will put the Clarion on ebay later if anyone interested. New they cost just under £500
It comes with fascia and airvent and brackets.
Nothing else needed for fitting.
But if you want to listen to DAB you will need a new aerial or a sticky one for window.
I fitted a new roof top aerial which cost about £30. The windows aerials are not great reception
