Hi,

I've managed to get my headunit out, removed the aerial, and remove the multi coloured plug by just pushing in the little clip and pulling out; easy. However for this main connector it just won't seem to budge, I've tried pushing in the little clip (circled red), but it still doesn't help.

I just want to make sure there's not something I'm missing before I pull too hard and break it.

There are 2 clips next to each other, it looks like it in the pic anyway, been a while since I took sh4dow's out so can't remember exactly, I do remember it was a pig and I also ended up with sore fingers afterwards.

Yeah there are two clips I meant to circle both of them. I might try sitting in the passenger side just to get a bit better leverage on it.

why can't the rest of the car be as solid as that lol

Yeah.. the glovebox will come off in your hand but this connector is practically welded on

From what I rember you need to push the connecter block in & try releasing the clips, then removing the block.
That's what I rember a friend doing to my CD Player, as we took the Blaupunkt DAB out as I suspect it's faulty & did my head in.
Put my old Wharfdale back in, better cd player as it has Bluetooth, which I think is more important than DAB.
