320bhp+ is possible out of a 1.4 at 2bar + boost and a hell of a lot of engine mods to keep it from flying apart. Been done on a couple of the old Mk1 1.4 GT's

Problem you have then is chassis flex trying to pull the car across the road:eek:

I'm running 65:bang: but 55+ mpg:D:D:D

Will this invalidate the warrenty and will it have to be mentioned to insurers?

yer just get a remap from red dot the should see you around 180-190 bhp easy
cost about £250 as well so good value for money. if you want a bit more get gsr induction , forge intercooler, de cat , thats what i done :D

Any chance you could provide a link to the red dot site where I can have a look at/book a remap?

how much more bhp did you get from your other mods? where did you get your exhaust?

thanks for the ideas

Mentioned in another thread a few minutes ago by someone else but here goes.

http://reddotracing.co.uk/.

PS check the events section for the next Rolling Road day, Red Dot offer a special price of £200 on those days!

This is the website I found earlier but can't seem to find want I click on for the ECU remap section also I haven't seen the Abarth Grande Punto listed

Wheel spin in 4th FTW!!! (Seems to have been a one off and not sure why i was in 4th at the time) 186Bhp 315.5fl-lb Torque!

Other than that one incident the car seems to handle the new power fine! (For now)

I quite easily get wheel spin in 3rd gear when it's wet - can't say I have managed it in 4th though. I do find that the GP isn't the best car for the wet weather and I have found myself nearly caught out a couple of times on corners that my Astra would have gone round easily!

I'm amazed the thing hasn't blown up or melted everything under there!

the warrenty will be void if they find the map and errrr yeah you should tell your insurer
