why have the filter sat there? still sucking in hot air if you ask me...

EDIT: those hoses dont look half bad though

I've got a heat reflector to go on tomoz. I'll post a pic
I felt the filter after a longish journey and it was stone cold so 1+1= 2
and if you mean bad as in bad ass yep i agree:D
oh just realized what you meant.

would it not be possible to attatch the pipe to the throttle head and the K&N filter on the end of that pipe, down somewhere cold?

this would be far more effective than having that pipe delivering cold air to the K&N

if the cold air won't goto the K&N take the K&N to cold air

I'll see.. But the K&N doesnt get hot where it is..

The silcone tube would get warm faster then aluminium

But the silicone tube would be smoother on the inside.

Did you'll not notice I put this mod in styling not performance.

Its still better than the intake pipe I had.:p

WRONG!

silicone: insulator

aluminum: conductor

(y)

I dont know about that. yeah maybe for electricity, the aluminiums to thin to act as a heat collector. I'll have to measure the temperature inside the tube,
I'm happy with it.. and actually thats all that matters.(y)(but for the recored THE CARS FASTER WITH THE K&N)

Rolf is right. Heat will go through the aluminium and heat the air up inside the tube where as with a silicone tube this wont happen and if it does it will only be very slight.
