What are people’s opinions on these?
I’m not comfortable with drilling holes in my punto, so I’m thinking about getting one of them number plate frame ones...

Does anybody know any good ones? Or have any recommendations for me

lol, its just nice to have one ;)

Like a condom, Better to have one and not need it, then to need one and not have it ;)

They are the cheap answer but not the best answer.
They do not pick up as much as the regular 4 sensor set up, and do not find things that are at the rear outer edges of the car.
I could never have confidence in reversing parking sensors like these.

But surely its better to have them then not have them?

Or should i just risk it and drill away?

or get the strip type system which needs no drilling its a special silver foil strip that sticks on the back of your bumper do a search it came up not too long back

You could always get one of those offset Fresnel lenses to put in your back window. Then you could see just how close you are to the wall / railings / barrier / wife / .... Just like a bus driver!

Wow that looks good, as standard parking sensor are so ugly.

I am not 100% sure they are reliable as i havnt heard of them before and no car manufactures that i know of use this style of sensor.
So do you know of anyone that has used these? are they any good?

Id personally stay clear of the electromagnetic parking sensors, we looked at selling them at work, we had a couple of people test them, and to say the least we werent impressed, they have issues with picking up items that are wood or plastic, and also dont appear to give warnings particularly reliably when reversing slowly (which lets be honest theres not many people who park going fast)

that tape stuff looks very good! does anybody have that diagram, because the Fiat dealers is quite far away :/

wish i had spotted this earlier :bang: ordered one today Then again i'm getting the uprated one as i have a towbar which uses 2 separate antenna's

http://www.parkingdynamics.co.uk/boosting-detection-range.pdf

which is the only reason i went with it most reversing sensors will see the towbar (even the proper fiat factory fit)

Do you mean "Picking them up" or "Picking them up"? I'd hate to arrive at work with the rear of my car covered in lollypop sticks, twigs and Evianne bottles. I would have thought these electromagnetic sensors were more likely to pick up empty cans and exhaust systems.
