This is one badly designed bit of kit! But most of you who've bought one know that already.

I'm more angry with myself because I tried to paint it black and just f@@ked up the finish. I've left it to dry over night and I hope I can sand it back and re-do the paint. Anyone been as boneheaded as me and got any tips?

take it to a spray shop...they'd fix it for cheaper than buying a new replacement :) (y)

so what colour does it come in the black or grey?

A kind of anthracite colour. Although they have made it in many different colours.

I just decided I wanted mine to be black as I may be getting black wheels next week.

I have to say mate, that looks well f'in smart!!!! (y) It gona be on for stanford?

If i get a Linea fancy spraying it for me

After the hassle of this one, hell no!!:bang::bang:

TBH it should look good by Stanford but at the moment it is far from perfect. Bits of it have crackled so I will have to sand it back and re-spray tonight.

We dont have a bodyshop but I am sure bodyshops would be happy to do the job. I would imagine it would cost a little though due to them having to mix up a certain amount of paint etc!

The fitting we seem to have mastered now although I have to admit some we do in around 30-40 mins and some seem to take just over an hour!

yeah i think that's the best way to go...if i got it sprayed somewhere would they fit it aswell or is it best to get a dealer to do the job do you think? i don't mind messing the inside of the car up but i'd rather my grille didn't fall off down the motorway!!! :bang:
