Well I just found out to my surprise that my first (12,000 mile) service is due

I don't want to take it to my local Fiat dealership cos they are a bunch of retards. Does anyone know of a good service garage in Surrey? (preferably close to Sutton)

Don't about Surrey but I can recommend my own Fiat Dealer - Ancasters of Bromley Road Catford London SE6. Service Manager is James Tong and is very enthusiatic about Fiats - techies I have found to be first rate. Can be a bit difficult to contact the Service Dept sometimes as they are always busy (is that a good sign?) Phone no is 0208 695 2500. Not sure how their service costs compare because I have never been anywhere else. Bought my Stilo from them new and they have maintained it ever since and my previous HGT.

My car goes in there next for the steering recall.

Hope this helps. If you go to them feedback would be good so I know whether I'm actually getting a good deal. So far I'm totally satisfied.

I just got a quote from my local Fiat.......£150 Can't believe they want that much for a poxy bit of work that isn't going to improve the car at all. Only reason I am getting it done is so that I can sell the car easier when the time comes I'm going to ring round a few local independant garages and see what they quote. Don't want to pay more than £100 and even then I won't be happy

Well just got a quote for £103 from a very good independant garage in my area, will go with them
