Isn't it great when you phone up to ask a question about your Fiat, to find out the dealership has closed down:mad:,and to be told the one nearest to you now is miles away:bang:
The dealership was Medway Autos just in case anyone else from around the Medway area that bought a new fiat through them hasn't realised this yet.
Nearest dealership now is Lipscomb Motors in Aylsford.

Not as many miles as i thought it would be but its now changed from 5 miles from where i live to almost 11 Miles, gave them a call on the phone earlier on and i can tell straight away they don't seem as friendly as my local dealership was, i asked them a couple of questions i needed to know and they said they would call me back in a few minutes,4 hours later i had to ring them again and i was told no we don't,and the phone was cut off,5 minutes later someone else phoned up and said exactly the same thing, how long would it have took them to say that in the first place, and you could hear in there voice they sounded like they were pissed off, guess this is the attitude of the new dealership:mad::bang:.
Good bloody start that is.
I suppose the friendly feeling is now out the window and will be more like you are being a pain if you phone them or call in to have something done.

If they are the closest to the other dealership... they're just having the fun of all the records from the other dealership being dumped onto them.

Was your old dealership a chain or a one-man-shop?

As far as i am aware it was a chain, they were the friendliest guys i have ever known at any dealership, nothing was to much trouble for them to help you out,but it seems these new ones have an attitude problem which normally means things not getting done when they should, and if you need to ask questions about parts or what ever it seems like you are pissing them off, you can hear the attitude in there voice.

If they sound like they can't be arsed, avoid them. Don't want your good Bravo experience turning sour now. 11 miles is pretty close for a Fiat dealer from experience too. In Oxfordshire my nearest dealer is about 15 miles away, but they only opened around 2 years ago, for years before they opened i was looking at 30 miles+ for a main dealer.

Also because the dealer that has opened in Oxfordshire is part of a group that have been hopeless with their Vauxhall & Ford dealers (Hartwell), i'll be driving for an hour and 30 mins on Friday to Rockingham Cars in Corby to get the Stilo serviced.

Fiat do need to increase their dealer numbers, but at the same time it's pointless giving franchises to clueless monkeys, as theyll only end up adding to peoples opinion of poor Fiat service.

I came back to a Fiat after my last dealership changed brands. Used to have a Skoda and the dealer was spot on, local, friendly staff and went that bit extra. When the car was serviced nuts were tighented, the steering and handbrake always felt better, she was cleaned and a loan was always offered. I never took them up as they also offered a lift to and from work and since all it would be doing is sitting in the car park.

Then they then changed to Nissan. As my car was under a service agreement I had to go to the authorised dealers. These guys were awful and I swear all they did was stamp the book as i couldn't tell they'd done any work. Customer care was poor too. the next nearest dealer was run by the same firm so i decided to change back to Fiat even though the nearest dealer is 15 mile away. (actually bought it from one 25 mile away, but wil get it serviced a bit closer). I've had to make a couple of visits and i'm pleased with them so far.

It goes to show how much the dealership is a part of the car owning experience,
