Pgr 4

Got it yesterday and i'm playing it with the wheel, its not as all over the place as PGR3 was with the wheel. Finding the graphical detail amazing, Just done an invitational on career where you had to drive round the Nordschleifer in a maserati 250f in the snow in a certain time its fairly easy as long as you dont go nuts but in places its genuinely beautiful with low, weak, slanting sun picking through leafless trees and causing at times when your driving into it that annoying snow white-out when sun and snow combine into an accident waiting to happen. Also its fun, which while graphics are important is more important. Quebec reminds me of Edinburgh on PGR2 (i miss both Edinburgh and Sydney off 2 they were my favourites) in the track make up, it has tight sections leading to wider straights and changes of elevation but still not the same.
I done that one just last night, first time I tried I thought I would have to push hard to finish in the time limit and I booted it in too many places, which inevitably ended up with me facing the wrong way all too often  :D I crossed the finish line 5 hundredths of a second too slow   I tried again with the subtle approach and made it easily with around 20 seconds or so to spare

My only grumble is that the acheivements are a little on the easy side, been playing since Saturday and have over 600 points already, where as Forza 2, its taken forever!!

I love the Macau course, tight and twisty, the Radical LMP1 is ace round there.

Don't forget, when you do the overtake missions, don't ram the bikers off as that won't count as an overtake!!

as long as you can ram them off after  :slayer:.

Anyone else done the Tesla invitational yet? Its the oddest driving experience on a game pretty much ever, 1st gear is for 0-60 2nd is for anywhere between 40 up to 14.5k and 130mph and thats it! all accompanied by no more than a light whistle!
The achievement points are too easy i've done one full season now and i've got over 500 gamer points.
Loving the slower cars (especially the rs500 cossie) hated the old one because there was no sense of progression you just got mint cars and that was that this one there was a sense of moving up.

I have got this game and being a PGR fan i have to say its by far the best in the range so far, im not to keen on the bikes im to involved with the cars at the min lol.

It would be good if you could damage your car completely, but they have to have something for PGR5 dont they.

i dont know,im enjoying it.
it does need some issues addressing.
see the forum on bizzares site for info.problem is if the change too much people moan and if not enough people moan

part of me wishes they went back to metropolis street racer
much less forgiving,eg lose kudos when another car hits you or you hit it.
lose the kudos you previously earned on a levle if you retry it

Sadly I'm in the process of bleeding this game dry so I can now trade it in, it's brilliant but I don't think it's as pick up and play friendly as the previous games so once it's fully complete I'll not be returning to it, I loved the old style with the medal system, it kept me returning to the game until I had every single medal.
Also I hate it when you use the internal view and the bonnet cam, when you start some of the rolling start races you get a great big bloody GO stuck in your view and if there's a sharp bend or two then you'll find yourself having to hit the restart button all too often until you know exactly where to turn without needing to actually see the road  :bang:

had a quick blast on forza today...they really didnt take advantage of the force feedback on gotham, Love the weather and stuff, but it gets a bit repetitive if you play it single player all the time, noticed the GO thing as well. Now waiting for forza 3 i think..even if its miles away, dont know if i can be bothered to finish gotham.

Well I've done all races on silver and a few on gold in the Arcade mode. Career mode I have now finished and got a load of random Achievements as well. Have got 875/1000. Did a few online races, but got bored quickly.

I don't go on live that much these days, occasionally on a Sat or Sunday.

May trade this for NFS-Prostreet or flog it on Ebay,,
