The clutch release bearing is on its way out after 14,000 miles  JOY!
Was up at Halfords buying a fire extinguisher for the Ka and Punto after Lynseys ordeal when i was approached by a guy off the site who works for AC Fiat in dundee(cant remember his name but he drives an 04 plate navy blue Panda).
He said there is a knocking coming from my engine, which i thought was normal, and asked me to press the clutch, and in went away.
Apparenty, the clutch isnt engaging properly, and the prongs are constantly rubbing against the gearbox or summin, thus making the knocking.
He then tells me that it is a gearbox/ clutch out job, and if it has got bad enough, i will need new ones. It will get progressively worse, and ruin them both if i dont get it sorted.
Thank God its under warranty, so i shall be up there on Monday, and when i drop the car off to get repaired, i shall take the receptionist to examine my pristine dentless car, and if it returns this time with a scratch or dent or imperfection of any kind on it, there will be ****ing Merry Hell!
Although, if i book it in now, the car might be in the garage at ST.Andrews, so i might wait till after that to get it fixed.
BAD DAY!
My Poor baby is self destructing
