take it that you never backed up then? you could go onto ebay, buy a laptop drive caddy(£15 tops?), take out the laptop drive(usually quite easy to do on modern day laptops) then backup onto another pc that way?

FES is a bit funny that way. Requires a unlock key related to a hardware key. Any change in hardware requires a new key from Mr FES.

Sorry venters not sure what FES is, been building and fixing PC's for a lot of years starting with 486's, but kind of been out of it for last few years!! lol (I Run a dirty word called apple now lol!!)

nah , the laptop is a old one , what i installed all my stuff on , , but now its sort of back up and running ,,, , just goning to see if i can borrow my mates laptop and install them all on,
