yeah man, i know you were

i can laugh at it aswell, but as said earlier it really gets boring/tiring when you hear it non stop from lots of different angles.i'm more aware than anyone how much of a problem child the cinqs been, and also wouldn't like to count the amount of time that's been spent on it not to mention money when in all honesty if i'd been at all sensible, i'd have punted the thing over a year ago and be far better off for it :laugh:

as it is though, i never, so im here with it today yes it's still a little problematic (todays new issue is the exhaust rubber deciding it's had enough :laugh: ) but still the work goes on. sometimes problems arise outwith my control with old/failed parts. when i make the problems (head gasket on the wrong way ahoy) then it's fair game for a **** take, but when the issue is something i can't do much or anything about, the jokes get wearing fast...it'd be the equivalent of someone taking the **** out of your parking the time someone drove into your bravo and wrote it off when you wern't even there.... it's gutting when you put alot of effort into something and something comes along and causes another problem, the last thing you can be bothered with is people creating a laugh out of it

TBH, i think anyone that owns a car that is 10 + years experiences more or less the samething. IS how you deal with it, and how you want your car to be. I didn't buy a cinq because I expect everythings to run smoothly and i wouldn't sell it beause of silly problems either...

Fo example, I got my the 16v ready ready for MOT, boom crank shaft seal (gearbox side) started leaking like mad ~ and off the box comes and change it.

I just deal with it as i expect things to go wrong and just fix it . Like, your cinq is not especially bad at all most of the problems seem to be engine related. If i were to have my car off the road for 2 years , defo 16v!

i wouldnt worry bout what others think mrcento dont let the b******s grind ya down i unnerstand where your coming from i said i would never have another fiat lol and if its what you want go for it! my cinq has frustrated me at times plus working on your own can get you down, chin up dude
