*Pops head back through door*

Girlfriend picked up her new Ibiza today, lovely little car. HOWEVER, it does mean the end of me trying to diagnose a million and one problems that old Fiats have, and that's a little sad knowing that, for a few years at least, I'll have no ties with the brand (well aside from a model of my old car, and its spare key  )

So glad I'm not the only one who keeps a key from their old car - scrapped I should add not sold on

I am so, so tired this morning. Coulda done with an extra 30 minutes in bed but had to get the recycling out

Theres a car needing my attention... and I cant get to it!!

It wasn't out of choice. It was MIA until recently when it turned up attached to the join in a drawer...if I see the car I'm going to leave a note letting them know if they want it give me a call and they can pick it up.

Or move the car a bit... and lock the key in the car..

Ah that brings back many memories.

As a teenager I shared a car with my sister which, as she was older, she used more than me despite sharing costs. One night on the way back from the cinema we passed the shared car parked up outside her friends flat and, as I had my key on me, I thought it would be a great idea to move the car around the corner. We laughed as I did it and then, being teenagers, promptly forgot about it.

At least until I got home....

I walked in the door to see my Dad on the phone to my sister who I could hear was in hysterics. He took one look at the grin on my face and instantly told her to stop worrying and reassured her the car wasn't stolen and there was no need to call the police.

There's a reason I don't play poker

I was in the **** for a few days from the parents but it was oh so worth it to scare the hell out of her as she gave me hell growing up.

Funnily enough we're great friends now though

Watching Dundee go 4-1 down after leading to get beat 4-3. Played pish in the middle third of the game so hopefully they'll learn from it an improve.

Sore back, sore arms and a sore neck all thanks to clearing out the cold room at work which was a truly shitty but necessary task. All done now bar stacking thousands of test tubes in the dish washer but that's easy compared to hauling boxes around and crawling around under benches to get to lost samples.

Usually I hate my desk but I'm now thinking of it with extreme fondness

Discovered today one of my front headlights is badly cracked. I've owned this car from new for less than 4 years and it's given me more hassle than the old bangers I used to drive :(
