Jesus Christ, if it ain't one thing it's another !!

Got home last night to hear my exhaust blowing :( As I'm a bit, no, very strapped for cash, if it can be "repaired" what's the best way ?

I haven't had a chance to investigate the exact cause, but it sounds like a small hole in the centre section.

Is there a filler or exhaust repair tape anyone recommends so I can make do until funds allow a proper replacement ?

Cheers,

Rob.

i tried using hellfrauds tape & paste but all i managed was to make the hole bigger... not recommended.
had some putty in a tube once but i cant remember what make it was, very good stuff mind lol

Saw this in a mag, get a red bull can, cut the ends off to make a cylinder, then make a cut lengthways so you can uncoil it to slip it on the exhaust. Secure with jubilee clips.

Might work for a while.

re

lol, i'm guessing a red bull can as its smalleer diameter, if the can is larger than the exhaust then you won't get a tight fit.

Of course Red Bull only! Its a popular performance mod.......gives at least 10 more bhp :)

Ususaly you can buy tape and paste to block the hole for a bit of time, but it depends on the position of the hole - the stuff is tempereture sensitive, so if its near the exhaust manifold it wont last
