Hi

I recently bought a set of splitfire plugs (model number sf416b) from ebay for my bravo 1.2 16v 80sx the person i bought em off advertised them to fit my car.

Once i recieved them i started looking into it a bit further so i went onto the splitfire website and discovered they dont do spark plugs for a bravo 1.2 16v 80sx.

I did however notice that they do fit the punto 85elx 1.2 16v.
so i guess my question is it the same engine thats in my bravo and if so can i use the plugs in my car?

thanks in advance dan

You've asked this before. Basically you've been shafted.

Your current spark plugs should be multi electrode. Replacing them with the old style single electrodes of the splitfire will not gain you anything, you might even loose power.

Sorry.

The splitfire is an OLD OLD design and has stood still while 'standard' plug technology has leaped ahead.

Get some bosch super 4 plugs and flog the splitfires.

But will they fit tom or will they do any damage if fitted i just wanna try em

deja vous, the feeling you've seen something or read it before...

Take one of your old plugs out and see if they are the same thread size and length.

But I wouldn't fit them if I were you. They are not a suitable design for the engine.
