Because your traitor car is not Italian!

I have e-mailed a few printers to see what they're quotes would be on 50 stickers.

I have given them the 2 dimension you have previously mentioned when you cut out examples and mentioned they would initially be in white and may progress onto more colours in the near future. I'll drop a message once i get an email back (y)

I wont have a sticker either as my car is indeed French, strangely quite reliable too.

I know its a Sh*itroen... just cant remember what frog model hes running ;)

I wanna say.... C2? C4?

Oh No.:bang:

Why the hate, it's a great car.. I had a 1.9td Xsara before this one, but I hated the fact it handled like a boat, so got the newer facelift model with a better designed chassis.

For example -

Xsara owned for almost 12,000 miles and 10 months.
Revved hard from cold almost daily, gets 35mpg when doing so.
All it's needed is two new tyres that I just bought for winter.
Bought for £650 - got a trade in value for £800 the other week for a brand new car.

Mk1 Punto owned for almost 2 years, 19 months of that was on my parents driveway with a cracked head and undriveable, driven like Miss Daisy, serviced when needed and completely wet sanded and detailed (I know right, who'd do that to a Fiat) 40mpg if I was lucky. Bought for £400, sold for £140 for scrap/parts.

You can't really knock French cars, my experiences with them are beyond fantastic.
Italian cars not so much.

Err you can, you've just been luck.

Don't even start me on how the French can't convert their vehicles from LHD to RHD properly (although thats mainly Renault mind).

I will agree with you on that one, I've been looking at the top of the range Renaults and it's quite appauling really, but you get what you pay for and even 'prestige' vehicles now a days are finished to a poor standard.

Take BMW's paint for example, comes out the factory with more orange peel than a 80 year old, sun bed addicts face.

It could have been the prolific headgasket failures on the 8v Fiats.

But there is no prolific HG failure on 8v FIRE engines, its only on poorly looked after Punto's, who have had previous owners fail to maintain the crap cooling system on them. Panda's for example don't suffer with nearly as many failiures ;)

So ...

Who still coming to the meet on 28th?
