Hi,

I found that the horn was not working and isolated the issue to the clock spring. However I'm unable to find it e.g. in ePER (www . pekidi . com). Have anyone got any clue as to where it sorts under in the hierarchy?

There's a label on the assembly, as well as a number embedded in the plastics 0071741013 / 08625004 but unable to find anything useful with these. either I'd want to purchase an OEM replacement or find something second hand, but the correct PN would obviously make that job easier...

btw, the flex film has been torn off and messed up completely inside the assembly.

The clock spring is not usually available from vehicle manufacturers separately, being part of the indicator/wiper switch assembly.
I have seen some clock springs available somewhere, but cannot find that now. Didn't make a link as I have a replacement switch for the Panda.

I'm not very conversant with Ducato models, so X250 means nothing for me.
Searching ePER with those numbers only gave me an injection control module costing around £900, so that isn't it.

Options: (not necessarily in this order or priority)
1. Send me a PM with the full VIN and I'll search ePER for whatever I can find. Then we can move to option 3.
2. Tell us the year of the van.
3. Search Ebay/Google using terms such as 'clock spring' and Ducato, etc.
4. Have another look at the switch assembly for manufacturer's name and numbers. Those moulded in are most likely to be numbers of that moulded part only, but always worth noting everything.

You need a new one....from Fiat it is indeed only available with the column switches as a full assy .
Your's will have numbers on it .....put them in a search engine and you may be lucky and find a S/H one .
I recently got one for the Wife's Ducato camper van from some really helpful guys in Holland . ( It did help the wife is a fluent Dutch speaker )
You are unlikely to find a non original or pattern part ..... if the wire/tape thing is messed up then I'm surprised you don't have airbag light issues too .
