Problem: Air Temperature Slider or mixing control (it is the LH rotating knob which switches between hot and cold blown air in the X250 cab) has only got about 30% rotation and will not mix to hot air. All others work air speed, vents, etc.

I've taken most of the dash apart to find the problem but still stuck. I thought I might find the cable and find where the problem is but not so far!

Any help on where to look would save me time and temper .....!

you can take the control box apart once you pry the face plate off you will see small phillips head screws its just a matter of removing them and seperating the unit you will see where the cables fit in this is not a fun job believe me they build the car around these units if you can move the cable the controller is suspect these are only plastic bushes so wear plus time will cause them to sieze find one at a wreckers and pull it apart to see whats involved and go from there the cables can be replaced on the back of the unit best of luck Cheers Adam

big tip mate take out the drivers side seat for easier access
