I'm trying to source a clutch kit including the DMF flywheel and slave cylinder for my 2007, 2.3l 120multijet, but can't seem to locate a flywheel!
Anyone know of someone who can supply the whole kit, or just the flywheel?
Thanks in advance.....

The iveco 2.3 120 doesn't have DMF, just a standard clutch kit, but you will require a clutch slave cylinder that's not part of the kit generally, this cylinder contains the release bearing

Cheers for the reply......I'm totally confused now, Fiat say it's got a DMF, and only they can supply the flywheel! None of the factors can supply a flywheel, but a kit is available, and the slave cylinder is listed as a separate item!!!!!!!
HELP!!!!!

Post you're chassis number, when I get chance will look up the parts on fiat parts catalogue

Cheers Rolopolo
Chassis is ZFA25000001836973
Engine number 1189202

Thanks for the help.....

Defo a solid flywheel
Gen part number of flywheel was 504388069 superseded to 504092158 nla
Recon fiat part no 71724413 £248.77 plus vat

Gen clutch kit 504360588 which has a recon cheaper part 71794912 £210.19 plus vat

Bearing/slave cyl 55248403 £95.15 plus vat

Hope that helps

despite the supplier ive found all the throwout/slave cylinder assemblies come from the same company despite what the box says , Ive gone for a borg and beck clutch in mine as the torsional springs are smaller and more encased my theory is that with the genuine fiat article clutch the biggest problem ive had is with the springs breaking out and by going smaller whilst having a slight more roughness in release will outlast the genuine article im only 50000kms into the test but i was getting sick of replacing clutches because of broken springs Cheers Adam

Really appreciate all the replies, thanks for taking the time to post the info too. Looks like it'll be a kit with slave cylinder.
Cheers again......

Interesting test Adam, suppose with clutches it's a bit random to compare different makes, as it's often down to how the van or motorhome is driven (driving style and weight of load/motorhome)

My first X250 2.3 did 170,000 on orig clutch, all of that was stop start multi dropping deliveries in London and south east. Sold it at 250,000

Current van X250 3.0 2012, has done 302,000 on orig clutch, but we now do zero multi drop, all distance motorway and rarely thrashed

B&Beck
Sachs
Valeo
LUK were all good quality when I used to be in the parts trade
