Anyone know what the sensor in the inlet manifold next to the EGR is called?

I think you are referring to the Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) sensor. On some models it also has an air temerature sensor.

Ok thanks,I wasn’t sure what it was called,so how do I know if it’s the air temp sensor then??.

If it is just MAP it has 3 pins (Gnd, power and pressure signal), if it is MAP and temperature (still called MAP by Fiat) it has 4 pins the extra one being the temperature signal. They can get blocked with gunk a gentle clean with brake cleaner or similar can often help with issues.
