My 2002 1.9 JTD ELX (DOBSTER) bit the dust last month when I was hit by an Audi, had it from April 2004. It had made it to just shy of 150000 miles and was still driving as good as when I got her. I have replaced her with a 2011 1.6 diesel Doblo which I'm trying to get used to however find it a bit gutless compared to the 1.9 and feel the steering is a bit vague.
Just out of interest how do other people compare the pre 2010 Dobsters to the post 2010 ones

Try taking the MAF sensor off the car and spraying it with carb cleaner from a distance in the direction the air flows through it. That should liven things up a bit. The 1.6 is available in at least 3 power outputs that I know to. 90, 105 and 120 ish. If its a 90 they ain't very spritely as they are a heavy motor. I agree about the vagueness of the steering, I do find mine not as sharp as the Mk2 I used to have.

Thanks for your reply. I'm going to have her checked over and maybe have her remapped just checked the fuel consumption she is returning approx 40 mpg mixed driving the 1.9 was returning approx 50 mpg same driving . this vehicle is the 105 bhp version
