Retaining single rear seat
I'm converting my 53 plate high roof model into a camper. I want to remove the two seat section from the rear 60/40 split seats, but retain the single seat behind the passenger seat so I can carry another person. I took the two seat section out but it wasn't until I went to drive another passenger that we realised that the seat belt buckle for the single seat is built into the frame of the other two seats, meaning that there is no buckle for the single rear passenger when the others are removed.
Is there an easy (and preferably cheap!) way to solve this? Can I bolt another buckle to the car body somehow (safely and legally), or is this more trouble than it's worth? There is a buckle bolted to the floor at the extreme rear for the wheelchair conversion, which I am removing. Also, searching Google images for "Doblo rear seats", it seems that some newer versions have the buckle built into the single seat frame - would one of these fit into my car?
Many thanks!
