bit of a late reply but haven't been on the forum for a while. If you haven't already got it sorted then find a local auto locksmith. They should be able to do it a fair bit cheaper than the stealers! i know i do!

Would an auto locksmith be able to address the programming of the transponder chip in the new key?

Yes providing they've got the correct equipment as Fiat are tricky compared to Ford, Vauxhall etc

if whoever doing it is local to you then half of Fiat price is still expensive. Should be more like £70-80 depending on how far they are from you

well not sure what year Doblo he has, he says "my new Doblo" but i never take that as brand new because most people say they're getting a new car when they're buying a used car as it's new to them!
