I recently bought a 2004 Doblo 1.9JTD cargo. However the factory fitted parkingsensors are not working. When I put the car in reverse, I hear a continues beep that stops after a few seconds. I'am wondering if the sensors come with a seperate control box, or if they are connected to the can bus.

I'm guessing that one of the sensor is malfunctioning and therefore the system goes into error. But I don't know where to start searching for a solution. Does the FIAT ECUscan software have the ability to troubleshout the factory fitted sensors?

Check all the sensors are correctly fitted, if one pushed back it will sense the back of the bumper.

I checked that, it does not seem to be the problem. It seems that the system goes into error. I tried ECUscan today, but it seems that it is not able to scan the PDC. Does anyone know where the module is hidden and how I can check the sensors?

The controller is in the rear tucked behind the left hand side trim. When you work out how to test it let me know as I have the same issue - but mine was disconnected by the previous owner.
