Re: Facelift croma

There are so few left, it's unlikely - although, if anyone has, this is probably the most likely place to find them!

The Croma was the least favoured of the "Type 4" cars - Saabs lasted best due to their enthusiastic following and better rust proofing than the Lancia and Fiat - whilst the 164 was pretty rust resilient, but the engines were sought after for older Alfas, which saw far too many prematurely scrapped.

(Although I never really rated the Type 4 cars myself - the Alfa looks fantastic, but didn't drive anywhere near as well as a 75/90 - and the smaller 155, particularly in wide body form was a much better car to drive, too)

Re: Facelift croma

well,

I always like to 'keep my eye in', so to speak...

I had both a Mk1 & 2 back in the day.

But no- it's more out of interest- I'm angling for a Cinquecento at the moment; I've never owned one of those...

Re: Facelift croma

Well, I'm glad you asked that Icom- as I had never considered that there was a facelift-Mk1!

The 'Mk2' which I thought I had, was sufficiently different in every respect to be a distinct car, in my mind- it even had ABS! The badge for which I still have in my kitchen, for some reason.

I've dug out some pictures of them. For a while, I owned both types at the same time.
