Hi!
I just had an MOT failure and the ECU readout indicated a misfire, so I thought it best to change the plugs before doing anything else.
Is it difficult to change the spark plugs on my own on my 2005 2.2 petrol Croma? I haven´t found any guide online.
I assume it´s easy, but just wanted to check. What are the steps? Remove plastic panel, remove coil pack, unscrew plugs - something like that?
Are they seated deep in the engine block? Will an ordinary socket wrench with an extension do? Do I necessarily need a torque wrench to apply exactly the right amount of torque (which I think might be 20 Nm), or could I just use "common sense" to avoid damaging the threads?
Also - is it possible to reset the check engine light by disconnecting the battery for a while?
Thank you so much in advance for any advice!
