Hi folks, has anybody got any idea how difficult it would be to convert a left hand drive croma to a right hand drive if i had a donor car?
Basically ive seen a 2011 croma for sale but its left hand drive.Any ideas thanks boys and girls.

Not as busy as it used to be in here.Problem being i want quite a newish one to replace my present 2.4mjet and start again.Big problem it seems.

Hi,
IIRC a 2011 is a facelift model, so apart from mechanical issues there may be problems with interior trim differences too. Also assuming the donor car is an older one you would be transferring at least one known weak item (PAS) from an older car.The older trim may be getting brittle (plasticisiers migrate out the pastic, UV affects it) so getting out and installed without breakage or rattles will be a challenge. If you have access to space, maybe a lift and have time, it might be possible, but I don't think it's worth it.
What's wrong with the old one?

Hi thanks for the replies.Absolutely nothing wrong with the old one.Actually got it how i want it,no egr,no dpf, mild map of gus, full stainless. But its getting old.I was even thinking of fitting a face lifted front end,but searching the net for face lifted donor is difficult to.Fiat had a strange way of thinking with the marketing of these cromas, bit like the stilo too.
