:slayer:Think they will fit ok? The ad below has the sizing details. All looks good from what I can tell from the wheel sticky at the top of the Croma thread page.

Guess I should add the car details...56 reg 1.9 16v JTD with factory 18" alloys.

Nothing to your taste in the UK?

There’s plenty of choice on eBay.
Search Alfa & Saab & Vauxhall.

Don't forget any wheels from a Vectra C, Signum, Alfa 159, Brera and Saab 9-3 (03 onwards) will fit a Croma. Don't fancy the idea of cleaning the ones in the picture

Many reason for ebay.com/co.uk is COST! Dollar is 1.56ish to 1 pound. Shipping/import isnt a problem for me as I have use of the Military Mail system. I will have a look on ebay.co.uk though before ordering anything.

Agree multifit is less desirable, but not alot on ebay.com with 5x110 pattern only.

As for cleaning...the silver/grey factory rims need constant removal of break dust to look decent also, so no big difference.

multi fit make them look cheap an nasty :( keep originals

Maybe, but they don't have bolt heads sticking out which are a pain in the a**e to clean.

Will you keep your originals to put back on the car when you sell it, or sell them (on here possibly)?

Two of them really need to be refinished(serious curb rash from the wife passing a lorry) and they all have staining. So really they could all be refinished. I would just go that route but I am a little skeptical as to how a new non factory finish would hold up for the cost vs. buying something aftermarket?

Anyone have experience with having factory alloys refinished? Specifically what are the options...I guess paint and clear coat or powdercoat are the main two options? Also what about matching the color of the factory center caps?

Either way im not in a big hurry, but I am going to need at a minimum two new tires in the next month or so. My current ones with about 18K on them are worn on the inside as known to be a problem with these cars. Which brings up another question? Anyone have a shop recommendation near Bicester/Oxford area for a alignment shop?

powder coat is best option, i get tyres taken off wheels at local tyre place no charge as i say i will be back for refit after, i smooth out curb damage with sand paper and/or a polishing disc in a small angle grinder, i take to powdercoaters who qutoe £30 a wheel but they always take a few days longer than they say and reduce price to £20 A wheel. i then take them back to tyre fitters and get all the tyres refitted and balanced for £30-£40

Dave,
So you just tell the powder coater to match the current color? Do you know if there is an option to have the powder coater prep the wheels for the new coating vs. you doing it? I would assume so...at extra cost. Might look into it.

John
