Does anyone know if all 1.9 croma diesels have dpf?

It's just I'm getting change oil warning light, and I read that it will stop dpf discharges and run the risk of getting clogged permenantly.

I've got an 8v eleganza and I'm sure I read somewhere that they don't have dpf only on the 16v but I can't find where I read that.

When they discharge do they say something on the dash, cos I'm sure I've never seen anything displayed.

I've already come to the conclusion I'm going to have to pay fiat to reset that light, but I wan't to wait until I change the oil again in 8K miles. I'm assuming the message is BS and is based on an alogorithm rather than an actual sensor. I just need to find out if it has a dpf?

According to the brochure it has, also ePer shows one as being fitted. The oil light is algorithm based, my car went 2K miles before I bottled it (see the thread here) and got the light reset but I don't know if it'll go 8K.

I've got a 2006 croma 1.9 8 valve, it doesn't have a DPF some did some didn't.

Simple answer - look underneath about halfway down the car (under the rear seat area), if you can see what looks like a silencer with small pipes coming out of it and running along the side of it then it's got a DPF.
