Has anybody here replaced the head gasket on a Coupe 16v Turbo?

I'm still after a cheap 16v turbo for my project and now considering getting one with a blown head and doing it myself.

Is there any specialist equipment / tooling required that cannot be easily obtained?

there not hard to do thay mainly go from to much boost i think (correct me if im wrong people) but a 16v head gasket can only stand 1.5 bar of boost, no special tools are required, if your unsure of timing marks then amke your own

Preignition and detonation problems are common causes of HG failure.
This can be caused by modding an engine and not getting the fueling/ignition timing set up correctly.
Another common cause is engine overheating.
When you buy a car with a HG gone, you may be opening a pandora's box of troubles caused by by the HG failure especially if the engine was cooked.
Be careful is all I am saying bud.
