2008 Fiat Multipla Eleganza – 72k miles - Located 15m south of Glasgow (just off J8 M74)
Enthusiast owned, this is the most practical car you can get, not many left now and this one is one of the lowest mileages (which hasn't been adapted for wheelchair). It is a rare twin sunroof model, also has factory window tints on top of all the other top spec features the Eleganza trim has (see end of ad for full spec). Ideal car for someone who wants a practical car which is a little different.

Not-so-good Points
I believe this is structurally one of the best multiplas you will get which hasn’t had its floor cut up. I had intended to keep it and so sought out a low mileage one when I bought it, but after the clutch went (I believe it was the throw-out bearing – I had put the low pedal down to the famed hydraulics issue!) 400 miles from home, my wife isn’t keen on driving it. We mainly used it for longer day trips and holidays (using our small car for local trips). Additionally I have my dream car, an Avantime, which I am supposed to be restoring. Whilst most of the big jobs like suspension and clutch are now sorted, if I was to keep it I would want to properly protect the subframe and sort out the coils, and turn it into a micro-camper. But I don’t have the time with a new baby and another project I would prefer to complete – plus the wife has already said no and the replacement bought! Hoping it will find a new owner who can make use of this supremely practical car and just put the few niggles right, and preserve it for a good few years. Could even transform it into a mk1 look, but without a rotten chassis!
I also have a complete blue interior (seat covers, door & dash panels) from my previous Multipla, plus most of the plastic trim, and another set of alloys. The buyer of this car will be offered first refusal on these parts. Someone previously expressed interest in the interior and they will get second offer - anything left will be offered on the owners group.

Not-so-good Points
- Passenger front window doesn’t work (it stopped going up, so I disconnected the switch to prevent accidentally putting it down)
- Glow plug light flashes and the car sometimes cranks for a while before starting when cold, although pressing the accelerator usually gets it going. Car has never failed to start, just takes longer. My previous multipla was exactly the same!
- A/C doesn’t blow cold.
- Spare wheel is present, but the winch locked up last time it was used, I have removed it but have it if new owner wants to repair (there are instructions online
- 12 Months MOT (until 11/5/2026)
- Just had oil and fuel filter change (not many miles done since last service so air filter left)
- New clutch just fitted
- Both front wishbones/suspension arms replaced June 2023 (OEM Original Birth from shop4parts)
- Handbrake Cables replaced June 2023
- Both front coil springs and discs and pads replaced March 2022
- EGR valve replaced Feb 2022
- Rare twin sunroof facelift model
- Sticky plastics have all been cleaned up so look good and don’t make a mess!
- Good underneath
- Interior in good condition, no obvious signs of wear on seats (black with grey)
- Boot sill plastic intact!
- Clean History - I have a CarVertical report I did in January (had a spare credit, turns out they expire)
